Estimates

Estimates and consultations are free and are based on what can be seen at the property. If conditions turn out to be different once work starts, the work and the cost are discussed with you before anything continues.

Scheduling and weather

Landscaping depends on weather and ground conditions. Dates are given in good faith and can move when the ground is saturated, frozen or unsafe to work.

Plants and lawns

New plants, seed and sod need water and care after installation. Care instructions are provided, and results depend on that care and on the weather. New plantings need the most water in their first few weeks, and in hot or dry stretches they may need watering more often than an established yard.

Underground lines

Public utilities are marked through Dig Safely New York (811) before digging where required. Private lines such as irrigation, lighting and power to outbuildings are the property owner's to point out. 811 does not mark private lines, so letting us know where they run before work starts helps avoid damage.

Snow removal

Snow removal is provided by The Big Freeze LLC under its own service terms and seasonal agreements.

Payment

Payment terms are set out on the estimate for each job.

Work is carried out in West Seneca and surrounding Western New York towns including Orchard Park, Hamburg, Lancaster, Elma, East Aurora. Jobs further out may be possible depending on the size of the project, so ask.
